McDONALD'S KIHIKIHI SPEEDWAY

The Kihikihi Crusaders have been on the Stockcar Teams scene for quite some time, first competing in the New Zealand Stockcar Teams competition in 1999/2000. 2009/2010 saw a major revamp for the team with team bodies and uniforms purchased. That season was very much focussed on rebuilding with a young team that included Ministock graduates Kurt Scholes, Shaun Pussell and Carl Hodge.

The Crusaders make regular apperances at most teams events such as the NZ Stockcar Teams Champs and the Peter Barry Memorial at Meeanee. The latter is a very important event for Kihikihi as Peter passed away racing for our Superstock Team and over the years had helped get our Stockcar team on track at times when we were struggling for numbers.
